It had been what? Six months? Yes, six months since she left this place. This hollow and rather nocturne place, to find her. Looking back she had been quite pathetic, but not just that, she had also been a crybaby. What had she been thinking anyway, her brother was still overprotective; she had lost contact with her “mother” as well as, well Dean? Eyes shone a new spark, she had left this place, even left her horse behind and what was she coming back with? Well, to be honest? Another horse, to put it simply at least, it had taken her time, but she had returned now, to get her education done and move on with life. She hadn’t called her brother to tell him she was coming back, she had talked with the principle of course, but that was just a minor problem that had been easily solved. Giving a sigh she felt the need to breathe in and out, her body told her not to go back, not yet, but she had to. She had to finish something in her life.
The drove in took her what, like five minutes? It was a piece of cake as the teenager and soon to be student once again parked her rented car and horse trailer. She looked at the same stable she had left six months ago, back then she was still hurt, but now she was back, and she was for real. She killed the engine and noticed a puzzled stable hand look towards her and then to the trailer, laughing a little the female opened and slid out. It was time for more drama, right? As Roselyn Airheart closed the door of the car easily, she breathed in a deep breath and could almost hear horses snort and neigh here and there. The stable hand still just looked at the young girl until he walked forward, she smiled partly and leaned against the car before listening to the words she knew he would ask her.”Miss? Do you need help with something? I didn’t know that we were going to get a new horse at the campus.”
”Well then good sir, make a stall available right? I’ve already called the principle about this so you should’ve been informed already. But then again, I guess not all can get the news here huh? Now go, my mare hates waiting.” She looked at him, blue eyes calm as her hair curled so ever lovingly around her face. He just gulped and nodded before heading back into the stables, Rose giggled lightly, some men were really stupid in her eyes. Some believed everything a girl spoke, as long as she was pretty enough that is. No one could really blame this one though. She hadn’t grown that much, but her height had improved, she was about 5’5 in height, her blond waves were draped elegantly around her head, showing off those gorgeous brown eyes. Her lips were tempting and held a certain shade of soft red pink tone, her body was still slim, firm and curvy while her breasts made a little bounce when she moved around.
So what about her attire? Today her attire was a combination of a low cut white top, text written “Bitch I’m back,” the back of it was forming and the fabric only reached half of her upper side, she wore a pair of short denim shorts that easily showed off her lightly tanned slim legs, and of course a pair of easy blue riding shoes that fit perfectly. Roselyn Airheart grinned a little for herself, it would be fun to see the faces of the people she had met before her leave, but before she could explore, or even think about it, the female got a little startled by a sudden neigh. Oh crap! She had almost forgotten about her horse! Trotting softly to the back of the trailer Rose pulled down the back door and let it go down to the ground. She saw the large perfectly formed head at once, ears flicking towards her and the mare murmured softly. ”Sorry about that babe.”
She was answered with a snort and the horse turned back, the eighteen year old walked into the trailer, picking up the lead rope and clicked her tongue and the mare walked back without hesitation. The pair stood there for a minute, her mare taking in the surroundings while Rose looked at her proudly. Her mare was a splitting image of perfection, which were her thoughts at least. But she was truly stunning. “Peak Pin Point Performance” was her name, but she was nicknamed Pin Point. The mare had a height of a massive 17,2 hands, her coat was a shimmering light, light grey, her mane long and silky just like her tail. Her neck complimented her body and was formed like a feminine version of a stallion, she was masculine and still she was only 5 years of age. She was a pure bred Norwegian Warmblood, her father was Coronado and her mother was Diamonds Pearl.
The mare sighed out loud when she felt comfortable and got rewarded with a ruffle of her forelocks; the eighteen year old smiled and without much restrain got the horse into movement. But as they neared the paddocks Roselyn noticed movement, it was her other horse. The solid black stud strutted forth, ears pulled forward while his beauty and handsome moves dazzled the other mare. The female giggled a little too herself but when they started moving again she regretted the mare ever meeting that stallion. Legs went up and she half trotted half walked, behaved like a complete maniac because she had to be separated with the other horse. ”Hey, easy. Behave like the lady you are and not like a love struck filly.” Pin snorted as an answer and calmed down when they went into the stables.
She found the stable hand and he was just about to close the stall door when he noticed the pair. The older male noticed how the massive horse walked, every step she took shook in her muscles, her head was bowing elegantly while she moved showing that this horse was not one to mess around with. Then again, the girl leading the mare was far from bad looking, her eyes showed the slight hint of being arrogant and yet at the same time proud and confidence. He smiled charmingly at her and she released a soft smile in response, she could be nice, if she felt like it. ”Thank you kindly dear boy.” He shrugged back and walked back to his work.
She put her horse into the stall, closed the door and went back to get the rest of the tack. As she easily put that away Rose could finally breathe out. She patted the mare and let Performance get known to her new home while she would go see the horse whom she hadn’t seen for so long. Streamer, the stallion stood by the fence, ears flicking and he neighed lovingly when he saw her. She smiled and kissed his silky muzzle lovingly. ”I’ve missed you boy. Now let’s see what you’re god at.” He nodded lovingly and let her upon his back, probably not the smartest thing to do, but as she felt how his muscles tensed up and calmed down again she noticed that his breathing was heavier than usual. ”Poor baby, we have to get you going now that I’m back huh?” The response was a heavy sneeze and she giggled at him, she let him trot slowly and followed his beat until she felt that it was enough. She wondered however were everyone else had gone to. She couldn’t even see Dean or her brother, what had happened to this place? Was she alone?

The months had been slow going for the man who walked across the grounds, each day dragging by painfully, at first he hadn’t understood it at all, he had been so happy after finding Roselyn that her leaving so suddenly without any prior warning had been a huge slap in the face. And the truth was even after all this time; he still found it hard to think of her, though he had taken it upon himself to care from her stallion streamer as well as his own stallion Perry, it had been a hard task finding enough hours in the day for school work and training two horses where before he had not one.
Though it did help him somewhat to keep busy, as his mind wasn’t aloud to wander then, though he knew that Streamer missed his dear Roselyn as much as Dean did, which didn’t make things very easy. It was lunch break and while a lot of the students staying in the library studying for the inevitable exams this man walked toward the stables, knowing that both Streamer and Perry were out in the paddocks, he intended to see them, not train now just visit with them. He liked to take comfort from the horses whenever he could, his boots kicked at the driveway with little care as he strolled down toward the paddocks.
Eyes were more focused on where he placed his feet more then on his ultimate goal, if he had he may have noticed the way Streamer greeted the girl down there or they way she greeted him. He may have noticed the way she climbed on him easily and his calm and easy acceptance of her. If he had been paying attention these facts would have registered that this was someone the horse knew, someone he trusted, after all it had taken him nearly the whole 6 months to get the stallion to trust him.
Instead it wasn’t until he was at the fence and greeted by his own stallion Perry that he looked around for the other stallion, lately Streamer had been greeting him as well and he knew that both were out in the paddocks. Eyes scanned the arena’s as hi stroked his own horse gently till his orbs fell upon the horse, some girl sitting astride him as they rode off away from the fence.
Brow furrowed he didn’t recognize the girl sitting astride Streamer and thoughts weren’t coherent enough to put two and two together instead instinct took over instead and jumping the fence and swinging up astride Perry Dean urged him into a trot after the horse. Knowing better then to yell out again as he did when he first got here he decided the best option was to ride up to the pair and find out what was going on.
As he got closer though he began to notice things about the rider that he thought were familiar, not the hair, that didn’t look familiar at all but the way she rode did. Though Dean couldn’t quite pin point why it looked familiar or who it was, not consciously anyway, he shook the feeling off and pulled up to ride alongside them.
“I don’t know if anyone told you but that is not one of the school horses.”
He pointed out matter of factually as he kept pace waiting for the stranger and Streamer to slow to a stop, he didn’t want to start shouting accusations right off the bat, well he did but he knew he shouldn’t. He didn’t like seeing another girl riding Streamer, it wasn’t right, it was Roselyn’s horse no one else’s.

Her eyes hadn’t noticed Dean’s stallion, not that Streamer seemed to care about the horse either as the pair slowed from a trot to a walk. His steps that had been rough were becoming smoother, his whole body relaxed and in the end the Andalusian bred stallion bowed his body showing off even more. His rider smiled, patted his neck and let her fingers intertwine with parts of his mane. She still remembered that day when she had met Ben, the kid whose eyes told everything he thought. Yes she knew well that for many, dressage was just a way to sit up and down on the horse, that beauty was a good part of it. But they forgot to check in with the program. There were several hard moves to learn, you got points not just on your form, but also on the horse’s movements, how they behaved everything. But the people that did not know these things could think otherwise, it wasn’t her problem.
The young female sighed, she was in her own world, flashing about whether to be a true dressage rider, or just go with the flow of the jumpers. But she knew, she couldn’t put anything of it on hold. They were both important to her, even thought she had to prioritize both horses from now on, but she just couldn’t and would not leave one of them out. A training schedule had to be made, and she needed to start with confirmation and stamina for her stallion. Performance was another matter, and just as she thought of it, her mind was thrown back to reality. By a voice she hadn’t heard in a long time. “I don’t know if anyone told you but that is not one of the school horses.” She couldn’t help but giggle at his words. Really, he didn’t recognize her? Well, she was different in many ways of course but this, well this was just hilarious. But she noticed that Streamer trusted him, so this guy had actually taken care of her horse while she was gone? What a sweetheart.
”Oh my, I will be sure to let her know that I used him.” Her soft tone was tender in the air as she spoke her answer. Moving her body about the stallion halted, the black stallion greeting Perry friendly and moved his head nudging it at her feet, she smiled gave him a stroke over his neck before she finally looked up and straight at Dean without even a twitch or blink. ”I see that you’re not yelling like the first time. And what is wrong? Don’t I suit my own horse? Dean Pearson, you disappoint me.” Her words were probably striking a lightning in his head, but she didn’t want to make it as smooth as she first wanted it to be, so she made it a band aid and just ripped it off, there fast and hard. No harm done, well only the staring from the boy on the other horse. Her curiosity took the best of her; she nudged the stallion closer to his friend, her eyes inches of Dean’s and her hand went in front of his eyes easily. She couldn’t help herself, she just had to do it. ”Hello? Earth to Dean? What? Dreaming a wet dream about me already?”
Ah, what a ‘mean’ retort. But she wanted him to chase a little, he would hopefully not be bewildered, I mean he looked like he was sleeping or he saw a ghost. So instead of being the nice little girly she probably should be the girl clicked her tongue and nudged her stallion into a canter. She waved a bye, bye to the boy. It was up to him now, if he wanted to catch her or not. If they caught her she would give him a reward, if he thought he was daydreaming? Well then he would have an unpleasant surprise at school tomorrow. The stallion jumped lightly in the air but she kept her balance easily, he was still rough on the edges, and his condition was worse as he panted lightly already. Well he hated others on his back, maybe she would let Dean try, once he comes back from his “dreams” and find the pair gone. Now what will you do now Dean? The woman you love just left again, but this time she left for you to chase her, it’s your choice. You want a reward, or you want a surprise tomorrow?

As Streamer slowed in front of him and came to a walk Dean pulled up beside them Perry easily matching the pace of the other stallion without much prompting. Looking across at the rider now recognition dawned on his face even before she spoke, he was sure this was Roselyn, yes she had changed allot but from this distance there was no mistaking her. He was speechless, and remained that was as she spoke, the sound of her voice ran across him.
His whole body seemed to tingle as if her voice was healing the invisible wounds she had left when she took off six months ago. All that no longer seemed to matted in his mind as he sat atop his stallion soaking up the features he had missed seeing so much, noting the changes, and marvelling at the fact that here she was again, back at the academy!
At first he barely took note of what she was actually saying too shocked to see her here, something about letting someone know something... and then something else about not yelling and disappointing. He tried to make his mind focus on her words rather than just the glorious sound of her speech. He was thrown off guard again however as she moved Streamer to stand closer so she was within touching distance, though this time he did hear her words.
”Hello? Earth to Dean? What? Dreaming a wet dream about me already?”
before he could answer anything though she was off! Racing across the field away from him and Perry, and this time he snapped out of his shock right away there was no way he was letting her run off again, not without a proper goodbye, possibly not at all. So quickly regaining his mind he urged Perry into a canter after them.
He had forgotten just how good she was at riding and although he kept her in his sight, he wasn’t making that much ground up at the moment, keeping pace yes, but with her head start she was still too far away for his liking. Leaning against Perry’s neck he flattened himself out some getting a better hold on the stallion and trusting him. The two had come a long way in the six months, especially since Dean had thrown himself into training every spare second of the day to keep himself occupied. In a feeble attempt to not dwell on the girl he was now racing after.
Slowly he began to make up a little ground on her, getting just a little bit closer with each long graceful stride of his mount, he wondered how long they would run like this for. How long before he either lost her again or she slowed and allowed him to catch up. The answer to that he didn’t know, that was entirely in her ball park now and if there was one thing he knew about Roselyn it was to expect the unexpected, so in other words there was no way of knowing.

The feeling of the wind that caressed her cheek was a great feeling. The stallion breathed heavily but his ears showed how much he loved it. They ran towards the forest, the paddocks were massive in her eyes and as she maneuvered the stallion the female had to check behind her, she noticed him getting closer and decided to make a prank, she still loved pranks, even if she wanted to punish him for nothing, which was weird considering he hadn’t done anything. The stallion breathed out, he stretched his legs some more and that were when she noticed the large oak tree. The horse flicked his ears as she soothed him down; they went towards the tree where she dismounted him easily. As he felt the weight being pulled off his head turned, looking at her but she just hushed him away.
He got tense when he suddenly didn’t understand his partners behavior. The answer soon came as she whistled him away, he began to run, ears flickering a little unsure but he did what he was told and soon enough vanished into the forest were he slowed from a trot to a walk and then started grazing calmly in the meadow. Meanwhile Roselyn peeked from the large oak tree, she was hiding behind it, in the grass seeing at it was easy to hide in it. She giggled a little, sat down and pulled forth the phone she had. She texted her brother stating quite easily that she was back, but would live at the dorms. She turned off the sound in case Perry suddenly came forth, or her brother would call her. She didn’t want her “hiding” place to be known; then again he could have already seen her hiding there, which was the probability. But he had seemed so much in his own world, amazed that she was back and amazed by her change of appearance. Really, even though they had been apart for six months, he was still the same but that was quite adorable
Eyes closed after a while, what seemed like hours which was in reality was probably seconds or minutes. She remembered the first day she saw her new mare. The way the horse neighed as she trotted in the pasture, how her muscles twitched each time the powerful legs moved up and hit the ground. Performance’s neck had been bowed the whole time, throwing in the air when she suddenly went into a canter. It was the first time Roselyn had seen the mare, and it was love at first sight. The way her jumping style was unique and powerful was the attraction, just what the eighteen year old needed. A horse that matched her personality just as her other horse, but this style, this show jumper had just been too perfect. Peak Pin Point Performance was a true lady, and she knew of her capability and beauty, and she would always show it, in the easiest way ever. She showed off.
Her mind was falling from the real world, when she would return was another question, but had Dean truly seen where she was hiding? Or was he still running like a maniac, to a horse that was grazing so ever peacefully in the meadow? Pick your choice darling and see you’re reward.
